About Andy's House
Andy's House Transformational Program is a structured residential recovery program for men coming out of incarceration, as well as those seeking recovery from addiction and addictive behaviors.
Our Transformational Program focuses on equipping clients with the skills needed for successful outcomes, such as finding jobs, reinstating IDs, paying fines, finding housing, and ultimately being successful when they leave Andy's House.
At Andy's House, we strive to provide compassionate and supportive care to individuals as they go through the recovery process from addiction and destructive life choices. Our aim is to provide the necessary tools to aid and support a successful recovery, offering a comprehensive and evidence-based Relapse Prevention program.
Our Relapse Prevention sessions are conducted by
Dr. Yolanda Mitchell, our Clinical Director.
Our Program Includes:
- Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT)
- Holistic approaches to offender rehabilitation
- Sessions that assist clients in recognizing early warning signs, high-risk situations, and addictive thoughts
- Education on the progressive nature of relapse
- Skills training to improve the ability to identify early warning signs of relapse
- Utilization of individual relapse prevention treatment plans
- Ongoing recovery maintenance provided by our trained and certified staff
- Craving management.
In order to be eligible for the relapse prevention therapy program, clients must be stabilized in their recovery and commit to the twice-a-week group program.
